(2) Dr. Ella Nurilla SarirnIn 2012, Mother mortality in East Java was 94.4 /100.000 of living birth. East Java government has implemented decreasing and acceleration of MMR and IMR by implementing the health program, such as pregnant mother class. In Malang regency, the pregnant mother class has been begun since 2010 by Health Agency of Malang. The pregnant mother class is conducted three times a year. In Sekarpuro village, Pakis district, Malang Regency, the pregnant mother is routinely conducted three times a year, but the participants are so minimal. The research aimed to know the influence of occupational status and educational level of pregnant to the participation of the pregnant mother class.rnThe research method was observational analytic with the cross sectional approach. The sample collection technique by using total sampling, that is the pregnant mother that get examination at the BPM. Ena Mualifah, in march 2013 about 39 respondents, the analysis was used Kolmogorov Smirnov test.rnThe results shows that all (100%) of the participating mothers are unemployment mothers, while based on the educational level mostly at the Senior High School (90%).
