ABSTRACTrnPutri, Dini 2013, Description of Girls class XII SMUN 01 Pagak Knowledge to Breast Cancer (study in state senior hight school 01 Pagak – Malang ) final taste : D III Midwifery stady program of Widyagama Husada Health Scince College, Advisors : (1) Wafti A.,S.ST, (2) Dr. Herdiarto, Sp.OG, MMrnCancer is a general term for abnormal cell growth (ie, growth is very rapid, uncontrolled, and not rhythmic) that can infiltrate normal tissues and suppress normal body tissues that affect bodily functions. Cancer is not a contagious disease (Rama, 2008). Actual cancer can be cured, but there are still many people who do not realize that the cause of the patient as delays not saved see her. Cancer is not only for adult or elderly, so, cancer awareness must begin early. Based on preliminary studies that the school, has never been providing direct counseling on breast health. Besides, the youth life style unhealthy such as smoking or being among smokers, eating fast food and a lot more fat can increase breast cancer risk factors.rnThe purpose of this stady to describe the knowledge ofgirls class XII to breast cancer SMUN 01 Pagak.This study uses a descriptive design. Its population is 147 students. While the sample were 44 students that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria.rnBased on the study results obtained by 44 respondents, there were 28 respondents (63.6%) good knowledge, 16 respondents (36.36%) sufficint knowledge. It can be concluded that in student class XII SMUN 01 Pagak have good knowledge breast cancer, to continue to improve their knowledge in order to be better again.rnBibliography: 19 (referencs years 2001-2013)rnKeywords: Breast Cancer, Knowledge
