Supervisor (1) Dr. Wira Daramatasia, M.Biomed, Supervisor (2) Dr. Herdiarto, Sp.OG, MMrnMenstruation is a natural process from a woman which marked of the inner lining of the uterus (endometrium) that go out from vagina (Prawirohardjo, 2007). A women got can be called as teenagers when they have sexual maturity and they have been menstruation. In this moment many teenagers do not know about menstruation. Although, the knowledge about menstruation is very important for all of a woman especially for students in the elementary school. Based on Kusbandiyah (2010) a pregnancy can happen when a woman has been on puberty which marked by menstruation. From the preliminary study it indicated, 2 of 10 students have a good knowledge about menstruation, 3 of them have enough knowledge and 5 students have less knowledge. The aim of the study was to know the future of knowledge from student in fourth and fifth grade in elementary school in SDN Tumpak Rejo 06.rnThe study uses descriptive research. The population was 46 students of fourth and fifth grade students of SDN Tumpak Rejo 06. While the sample that used in this study were 46 students of SDN Tumpak Rejo 06 who have requirement of the inclusion and exclusion criteria.rnThe result of this study showed that 2 of respondent (4.3%) have a good knowledge, 10 of respondent (21.7%) have enough knowledge 25 respondent (54.4%) have less knowledge, and 9 of respondent (19.6 %) don’t have knowledge about it. From the data it concluded that students in fourth and fifth grade SDN Tumpak Rejo 06 have less knowledge. The researcher suggest the students in fourth and fifth grade, the stake holder of the school , and the parents to incrase the knowledge about menstruation by providing them with correct information.rnReferences : References 22 (years 2000-2012) Keywords : Menstruation, Knowledge
