M.Si.rnKIA’s Book is the instrument for registration and counseling (education) forrnmothers and their family. It is also recognized as the communication tool betweenrnhealth worker and family, and as the structure to reduce Maternal Mortality Rate andrnFetal Mortality Rate Indonesia. The preliminary study is conducted from March 28 –rnApril 3 of 2013 with 10 respondents of primigravida’s. Seven of ten respondents ofrnprimigravida’s who check up for their Antenatal Care at Ciptomulyo CommunityrnHealth Center do not use the book. Research is conducted to understand whetherrnthe use of KIA’s Book influences maternal health knowledge rate of primigravida’s atrnCiptomulyo Community Health Center.rnResearch design is correlation study. The sample is 24 respondents.rnSampling technique is Total Sampling. Data collection method is questionnaire withrnclosed question type.
