Midwifery Study Program of Widyagama Husada-Malang Health Science College. Supervisors : (1) Novita Mayasari, S.SiT, (2) Dr. Herdiarto, SpOG.MM.rnConsidering that free sex have been common phenomenon in adolescents along with globalization and science and technology advance, abortion would be public health problem since it generate pain effect and mortality to female adolescents. Based on existing research it could be found that there were more than half or 58% and 2.558 abortion records which were performed by female adolescents. This research aimed to analyze effect of health counseling about abortion on female adolescents aged 13-15 years old knowledge.rnCounseling method used was analytic by cross sectional approach using simple random sampling (70 female students) taken in SMPN 1 Donomulyo Malang. The research instrument used was questioner given before and after counseling was performed.rnThe research result showed that of 70 respondents after counseling was given most of them who had good knowledge were at age 15 years old or 25 respondents (35,7%). Of analysis result p = 0.000 were obtained thus p < α (0,05) indicating that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted indicating that there is difference or there is effect before and after counseling were performed.rnReferences : 15 references (2003-2013)rnKeywords : Counseling, Female Adolescent, Abortion
